These Northwest Kentucky Forward Board members came together in the summer of 2008 to form the NWKF Education Committee. They came together with a common vision for the communities of Northwestern Kentucky to view education excellence as a priority of paramount importance for improving the opportunities and choices available to our children and communities. The first endeavor the committee recognized was to create widespread awareness of the significance of education excellence, and to begin this process, the committee initiated planning for the Rally 4 Education Excellence.

Rally 4 Education Excellence Steering Committee

As the Education Committee began planning the Rally, its members sought the support and input of community members from Henderson, McLean, Union, and Webster Counties. The committee identified representatives from business, education, and government who then became the Rally 4 Education Excellence Steering Committee. Their advisement has proven essential in the planning of a successful Rally and will be vitally important in the long-term follow through of community advocacy groups in each county.
